Entrepreneurs typically dream big. They often envision the end result and what their business will look like once it is successful. Many people starting out see the destinations without thinking about mapping out how to get there. In some cases, an entrepreneur has thought about multiple final results and various business they want to have one day. I like to travel and visit multiple destinations but I cannot visit them all at once. You cannot go to Chicago and New York at the same time — you have to choose where to start.
This is one of the biggest flaws with some entrepreneurs. Where do you want to go first? There is nothing wrong with having a vision for multiple businesses, but you cannot start them all at once. You have to refine the dream and clearly plan out where you are going when you are starting out. This is the process of refining the dream. There is nothing wrong with dreaming big as long as you have the understanding big dreams start with small steps. Which idea is the most logical to start with? Which business can open the door to developing the others? Refine the dream to a manageable first step.
